Calling Michigan home for now.
As we get to know our new state, we get to love every single new place we meet. Being located about 1 hour away from Detroit. We start loving the state a little bit more every single day. The winter is very brutal as I might say this being our first winter since relocating from sunny Florida. There are so many things to do in Detroit in the winter, like Campus Martius Ice Skating and the Legoland Discovery Center Michigan inside of Great Lakes Crossing. As time progresses we hope to get to know many new places from this gorgeous state. It has many beautiful cities and so many astonishing views from the mountains.
We are patiently waiting for the spring or even summer just to enjoy some warm weather until we get used to this weather hopefully it won't take years for that to happen. My kids are very happy, and if it were for them, they wished winter lasted forever. We can't wait for warmer temperatures and sunny days to go out and explore more cities and beautiful places so many people have recommended us to visit.
Many of those cities include Grand Rapids, Ann Arbor, Lansing Flint and so many more. Follow us on our journey as we continue to fall in love with our new home.
