What a spectacular view!!
The Blue Ridge Parkway is a National Parkway and All-American Road in the United States, noted for its scenic beauty. The parkway, which is America's longest linear park, runs for 469 miles through 29 Virginia and North Carolina counties, linking Shenandoah National Park to Great Smoky Mountains National Park
As a former Michigander, I saw many mountains but the Blue Ridge Parkway is absolutely stunning. I had the opportunity to visit the parkway with my family a couple of days ago and was so impressed and amazed at how beautiful and peaceful it is. Sure we were hoping for some snow along the way but once we reached the top we were glad there wasn't any. We reached 4950ft in elevation and to be honest that is one of the highest mountains I have been to. The view was incredible and the air was cool. will not lie it was a bit scary as there are no railings on the viewing points or at least we couldn't find any but if you are an adventure seeker I recommend this place for a great hike and even to explore a little more. I continue exploring new areas as we get to know our new home state and I become more familiar with places where I would love to shoot one day.
I honestly recommend these beautiful mountains to all my adventure seekers who like to get closer to finding inner peace.
